Power Kids Gym (previously known as JWT Kids Gym) was started by Andrew and Philomena Cannon-Brookes in Singapore. Upon their return from living abroad for many years, they were looking for something fun and a learning experience for their children when they were much younger. Also as their oldest child was struggling with gross motor skills, Philomena couldn’t find anything that was engaging for both her children and herself. So she took matters into her own hands and started researching different businesses and finally narrowed it to JWT Kids Gym which was originally founded in the US. The store in Singapore was opened in 2004 and after 10 years in operation, they decided to rebrand the business to address the new direction that they wanted to pursue. Working with curriculum experts in Finland, UK and in the US as well as in Asia, we truly strive to bring the best of both worlds with what we do.
Power Kids Gym offers multiple revenue streams which allows a franchise owner the potential to earn higher profits. Apart from our regular classes, parties . kids night out and camps that we offer, we collaborate with local schools to offer mobile programs. It is a simple formula that is easy to execute with our proven system.

Ola friends! My name is Zac, the super sporty member of the team. I am power-packed with loads of awesome football tricks (and some hidden singing talent too!).
I have always wanted to make a positive impact to the next generation of little athletes by adding adventure and meaning to their lives. Seeing the happy faces of all the Power boys and girls after a session always makes my day!
My goal at Power Kids Gym is to create the best environment where both you and your little one can venture out of your comfort zones and discover all the things you never thought your child is capable of.
Hey all. My job is to channel the inner jedi of the trainers so that they transform your children into super heroes ready to conquer the world with their agility, strength and silliness. I take my job very seriously to ensure that everyone has loads of fun – staff, children and families who come through our doors.
In my previous life, I was a headhunter and then made the transition of creating an indoor gym for my 3 children who were driving me to the edge of despair with their hyperactivity. They are all now adults but still continue to spin my head around.
I am a certified personal trainer (though these days, I certainly could do with spending more time in the gym) and have also completed the Level 1A Gymnastics Training Qualification. I also had the privilege of being trained in recreational Gymnastics in the US.
Our gliders are well on their way on building a strong foundation in developing their gross and fine motor skills through our structured activities and our free play time. Whether it is holding on to the bars for 15 seconds, climbing the rock wall or working on their upper body strength to do handstands, there is a whole range of activities to challenge them incrementally every week. In the process, they will also learn basic skills such as waiting in turns, sharing and also to interact with others in a positive way. It is all about building their confidence to explore the unknown.
Just as a pony trots and then slowly moves into a gallop our sassy Twos are on an exciting journey of discovering their abilities in an independent way. Though mums and dads are still around to guide them, they will be exposed to pre-gymnastics activities and various sports skills as well as strengthening their skills in manipulative play. The emphasis is on working on physical and social skills where they have to listen and follow directions. They will also be building their knowledge of numbers and letters which will help them with language and vocabulary development. Whether it is through our mega obstacle courses or navigating our climbing ropes, or through drills and games, our twos will improve on their coordination, agility and strength and in that process build their self-esteem and confidence.
The Super Wigglers is designed to introduce toddler to learn through play. This program is instructional and educational, but fun. Our Climbers are gaining greater independence. They are nurtured to face new challenges by our Trainers, who spot them and provide positive encouragement,. This is the class where they are exposed to gymnastic and sports skills, relays and much more. These activities help build up their strength, coordination, flexibility and agility. Ultimately, the goal is to help them have a more positive mindset and to build their confidence in embracing activities individually as well as in teams. Whether it is mastering a handstand, straddle jump or learning to dribble a ball, our 3 year old Climbers will start to develop their fitness levels and are introduced to the concept of good sportsmanship.
Introduces core gymnastics skills such as the forward roll, backward roll, handstands and the single bar in fun ways. This class is a good foundation for children looking to strengthen their basic gymnastic skills. Hey friends! I am Farah, the youngest and spunkiest in the team! I sing randomly at times and enjoy goofing around. Challenge me to a sing-off or sing along with me!
I have always had a passion in coaching kids as I enjoy every single moment of it. Seeing, coaching and interacting with children for my work just brings a smile to my face, even though you probably cannot see it as I am wearing a mask.
I joined the Power Team as part of my diploma education and I look forward to all the learning opportunities here.
